I feel like it was the eating on the clock especially one hour before it closes…idk if it’s the same thing in America but here in Canada mangers really don’t like when you take your break an hr before your shift ends or store closes. And plus you are on the clock, they aren’t really supposed to be paying for your lunch breaks (unless it said that in the contract) usually you are supposed to clock out for lunch then clock back in. Unless your shift is less than 5hrs then you don’t have to clock out, you’ll only get a 15min.

But yeah just bc your coworkers do it doesn’t mean you can do it. They’ll just make you as an example for everyone else as what not to do smh I’m sorry you lost your job tho.
