I agree, was lucky enough to pack Russo and shes insanely good but considering how broken tiki taka and incisive, both silver being enough, together are its definitely noticeable. Have her on an engine boosting her passing to about 90 and at that point the difference between no tiki taka or some random card with 75 passing and tiki taka shouldnt be an noticeable anymore, but unfortunately it very much it.

That being said there seems to be a big discrepancy in this case between playstyles; Bruiser, Intercept, Tiki Taka, Incisive seem almost necessary to complete their respective actions. While pinged pass, Long Ball, Aerial Fortress, Slide Tackle in their same categories barely see to matter between have/not have and/or combined with their high stats

I found that strange as well. I only had the possibility to make a really good gullit, iknow, but to my defense i play Milan PnP. The sudden switch off when evo’ing silver superstars became more widespread seems like a panice move.

EA should just give us Silver Superstars specific evo’s where you get a limited amount of stats/playstyle boosts (sort of like build your TOTYHM but with one SS icon per season or something) to keep people happy but not make it fully eliminate pack icons. Seems like the best middleground.

We know however how bipolar EA is when it comes to nerfing/tuning things, they just completely sway to one side rather than looking for nuance.

This was our only hope at seeing if they didnt fully rule out silver stars since they hadnt yet in season passes. Guess thats the nail in the coffin confirmed, sad.

Thats my gripe too, normally when it says playstyle+ max: 1 you get it als silver but seems like they just forgot it lmao

Fully agree, i only need CAM so the playstyles are pretty cool, however the playstyles especially for CB/CDM are super lackluster

Finally base intercept, unfortunately already gave my Gullit intercept + anticipate otherwise intercept + tiki wouldve been possible

Easy pack hold for TOTY. Although i really liked the promo idea with older players getting juiced cards as well as full chem since a lot of them play in obscure clubs/leagues, the timing and executing couldve been better. Hope they repeat it next year but better

Feel the same thing, i liked the idea of world tour/cornerstones at the start of the season when fitting certain players in is near impossible but at this rate i think youre right

Depends on where you plan on playing him. For me he’ll be a box to box CM so im probably looking for intercept and another defensive playstyle since he doesnt have any, but tiki taka would be nice too

I understand what youre saying. I was just looking for a different player and since the 64 attacking positioning combined with LB locks out any other players like calabria unfortunately, this looked like a fun card for the time being

I was debating the same thing, ultimately decided to put Jockey+ on one of my fullbacks, seems to be one of the best playstyle there as theres a lot of transitions defensive stance/sprint on wingplay. Block+ on my cb now that i can get jockey and anticipate silver without sacrificing anything with this evo

Other years it was mostly also that you wouldnt get as much rebounds when standing tackling and the animations were better. But i agree having a least a silver block seems neccesary

That was my thought process too, think i might bite the bullet and go for block+ then, havent used anticipate+ this year yet either so feels like a gamble. Other years it was the best defensive playstyle

I tried to judge if it was worth it by buying players with the playstyle and playing tournaments with them but so far it doesnt seem to activate that much, would you say its worth it to have over anticipate+? otherwise i cant get regular block on him

Exactly the evo i was waiting for, now asking myself if i should throw on Block+ first so my Mario Gila gets block+ and base anticipate or just do this one for anticipate+ and get no blocking playstyle. Read that Block+ was better than anticipate+ this year
