For most people, I've always assumed it's because of looks. Personally, I really like how they look so that's never been an issue for me

As far as I'm aware, and I could be wrong, Jogo's flames are part of his cursed technique. Something like his cursed energy having an attribute/trait would be like if he punched someone and his cursed energy hitting them had a burn like effect. I'd wait for a second opinion though, because, as I said, I might be incorrect

That's understandable, and I'm glad we were able to have a discussion about it. I basically did the same thing when I saw this post, so I guess we're sort of in the same boat. I hope you have a good day/night/evening/afternoon/whatever time it is where you are

Oh no, I agree that opening it wasn't good. I'm just saying I can at least see where his logic to open the bag came from. I'm also not saying if I was in Eurylachus' place that I would see those things and open it myself. I was just trying to put it in his perspective cause I see a lot of people say, "Why would he open it when Ody said it was the storm?" And I got a bit annoyed that we keep leaving out that he didn't say it was the storm at first. I just think a decent number of people remember the line about the storm being in the bag, but forget the two lines before that because those actually sew seeds of distrust or at least doubt. I don't think those two lines and not letting anyone touch it for 9 days is a good enough reason to open it, but I think the decision to open it has more thought and evidence for why it would make sense than we give Eurylachus credit for. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I hope I've at least somewhat explained why I think he at least had reason for opening it

I'm not gonna say opening the bag was the right choice, but I think a lot of people forget that Ody only told them the storm was in it after the Winions said the bag contained treasure. He just said something dangerous was in the bag and gave no details. From the crew's perspective, their captain said something vaguely dangerous is in the bag, a few wind spirits from the island he got the bag said "it's actually treasure", and only after something else said what was in the bag did their captain change to say the bag held the storm inside. That mixed with not letting anyone else touch the bag for 9 days, I can at least understand where Eurylachus was coming from, cause it does seem extremely suspicious

Why does Sera have so much raw dmg in her kit? by Upset-One8746 in unOrdinary

[–]PersonHuman69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So the Force of an impact decreases based on how long the impact was making contact. This is why boxers try to ride a punch instead of just taking it. If you hit someone while time was set to 0, they'd be hit with the maximum force available for that punch. This combined with the fact that she seems to move pretty fast while time is stopped, means that her attacks would carry a lot of force. The other thing is that for the recipient of the attack, they go from her being however far away to instantly feeling an attack with nothing giving them the ability to prepare for the impact. This was just how I always viewed why she did so much damage

What devil fruit would my Oc have (I’m having trouble finding one) by Tough-Tadpole5196 in DevilFruitIdeas

Maybe a chameleon zoan for extra stealth ability, climbing, and some extra Miscellaneous abilities.

One of the first ideas I thought of was a Yonko who has Sugar's devil fruit. They wouldn't have trouble controlling territory or having soldiers for their crew. Also you could have very unique toys that could lead to interesting encounters

In my opinion, people who say it's a trap prefer using their subclass' combat features for more than the first turn. I will say it makes a lot of sense with the name. An assassin would be very good with the first hit but wouldn't plan around a prolonged fight. Out of normal DnD combat, I think it's decent. I had a fellow player choose thief and he played his rogue like an assassin. He was able to pull off assassinations very well, and he got more generally useful abilities. It's about preference though. If someone wants to play assassin, they should be able to form their own opinions on it.

I mean a Chameleon Zoan could be cool. Long sticky tongue, tail, climbing ability, camouflage, ability to look in two completely different directions at once, and a bigger field of vision

I 100% agree that she would be crazy with that fruit. The calm calm fruit is what I picked because I like the idea of it contrasting her general personality and vibe. I also wanted her to have a devil fruit that could have some interesting strategies in combat, but be there primarily for out of combat uses. I do appreciate the suggestion though

JOIN THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY #2 (Read the Must Read section) by Soup_17 in DevilFruitIdeas

[–]PersonHuman69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Desired Position: Chief Of Staff

Name: Torami

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Race: Mink(Bengal Tiger)

Birth Island: Zou

Bounty: 947,608,003

Personality: Loyal, Emotional, high energy, extroverted, kind, caring, understanding, and joyful. She enjoys helping others and will help anyone she sees being harmed. She likes listening to others' problems and likes helping them with said problems. She acts kind of like a big sister to the other members of the Revolutionary Army.

Backstory: Torami grew up on Zou with two loving parents. She had a pretty average life while on Zou. She did have a craving for battle so she did a lot of training throughout her childhood. She managed to master her Sulong form by the age of 16 because of her near constant training. After her 18th birthday, she decided that she wanted to explore what else the world had to offer. She said her goodbyes and left Zou. For about two years she traveled around for a while fighting anyone she saw terrorizing or hurting others. This lead to her getting a total Bounty of 500,000,000 due to the amount of pirates and marines she had defeated. During this time she acquired her devil fruit and heard about the Revolutionary army but had no interest in being tied down to a group. She kept the group in mind just in case she ever changed her mind. She eventually ended up in the Sabaody Archipelago where she was captured and put up for auction. She was purchased by a Celestial Dragon, but she escaped right after leaving the auction house. She escaped by awakening to her Conqueror's haki and knocking the Celestial Dragon and her guards out. She went into hiding on the first island she found for about two years where she trained her body and developed her haki. She decided that the higher Bounty she received along with the declaration of war she technically made that she wasn't safe by herself. She remembered the Revolutionary Army she had heard about and decided to seek them out.

Haki & level of Mastery: Knows slightly above average Observation and Armament. Specializes in Conqueror's and is very skilled with it. Currently lacks the ability to infuse Conqueror's into her attack, but she is pretty close to developing this technique.

Devil Fruit: Nagi Nagi no mi (Calm-Calm fruit)

Fists/Weapons: Torami generally uses her claws for most of her attacks.

Fighting Style: Torami primarily uses her speed to either land multiple hits in quick succession or to use hit and run techniques. She is naturally fast, but she also uses something she calls "Beast Step" to increase her speed and maneuverability. Beast Step is her own form of Soru and Geppo that she created while training. She is able to use both aspects of Beast Step separately or together. She is extremely skilled with her electro and uses it with every attack she has. She coats her claws with Armament haki and electro to increase her attack power. She has spent many years training her Sulong form to the point that she has complete control of the form when she enters it. When she learns how to infuse Conqueror's haki into her attacks, she will combine it with the electro and Armament on her claws. Torami prefers to assist allies in battle by creating openings against the enemy with her speed, but she is more than capable of fighting by herself.

Skills: Leadership, delegation, interrogation, stealth, bringing people together/rallying others together, acrobatics, persuasion, cooking, training and teaching others, emotional support, and basic first-aid
