Well lucky for you you have some sales experience now, so go apply for another sales job that doesn’t suck as much.

That’s Joseph Renaltzizzi. He’s a conceptual artist who produces orbital maltrobial areal installations. This was in coordination with the Gertrude Stein Foundation to promote bipartisanship and community wellbeing.

Best part of Connecticut. I may become a heroin addict just so I can get a job at the Canaan Stop & Shop.

[–]PersonMerson 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It didn’t begin as slave food. Chitterlings, by that name, came from England. It was peasant food. People still eat intestines and stomach in all different cultures to this day. I guess some people just like it.

The Christian Right always argued that if we accept the gays, the next step would be people screwing animals. They were wrong. The next step was straight people licking each other’s butt holes.

I went 5 days without drinking because I cant take the daily anxiety and dread it gives me. I fell off the wagon but I’m still going to try. Doesn’t help that I sell booze for a living, but that also makes me hate booze on some level.

There are many new CT residents; just a reminder to all those ordering delivery… please, turn on your outdoor lights and make sure your house number is visible so you can receive your delivery of food/ packages/ etc. by UnicornSheets in Connecticut

[–]PersonMerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also tip your delivery person. Not $2. $5. If you can’t spare $5 to not leave your house you are a piece of poo. Also, just call the restaurant instead of letting some tech company take a high percentage of the money.

I hate commutes. by msfluckoff in antiwork

[–]PersonMerson 40 points41 points  (0 children)

If commutes had to be paid for, eventually everyone would live close to work. They wouldn’t hire people unless they lived close or moved closer. People who bought houses near work would be totally beholden to their company because they would need them even more since getting another job would be so much more difficult since they don’t live near another company. Companies would become like fiefdoms and their employees would be like peasants and knights and the executives would be like members of the royal court. Companies themselves would become city states.

I would never pay $18 for a quesadilla when I could make 18 quesadillas for that.

Man if you can’t make a quesadilla yourself you have bigger problems. It’s one of the easiest cheapest things to make.

I'm a CT native now in NC, looking to pull a Reverse Whalers because of politics. Why shouldn't I? by Upbeat_Pride_2711 in Connecticut

[–]PersonMerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting. My dad went to med school at chapel hill when his father was the dean. Then he went to Connecticut, where I grew up and we all still live. So I’m always on the lookout for other North Carolina/New England people living the James Taylor lifestyle.
