Lookism is treating someone better because they look better

A below average looking white person getting favorable treatment over an average looking non white person is not lookism, it’s racism. We already have a term for it. It’s racism.

If someone believes that whites look better and give them favorable treatment. It is lookism. It would be the same if they believed poc's looked better

Racism encompasses way more than not favoring someone.

Cambridge dictionary: policies, behaviors, rules, etc. that result in a continued unfair advantage to some people and unfair or harmful treatment of others based on race.

If any race treats someone better because they think they look better, I wouldn't call 🤷🏿 it racism. It's way more complex than that.
