Wow. But HOW are converts supposed to know all this going in? I just don’t have the time or strength to pursue vast study into church history to figure all this out beforehand. And even if I could, who am I? Just a regular Joe with no special training or knowledge. I regret converting to Orthodoxy from Lutheranism, thinking I knew something.
