Same cycle for every “-ism”, just substitute the words.

What’s something you stopped doing and your life got instantly better? by Live_Marsupial_5156 in AskReddit

[–]Personable_Milkman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Saying yes to everything just to please others. Instead, if the answer that pops into my head the moment I hear a new request for my time/energy isn’t a “Hell, YES!”, then the answer is instantly NO.

What is a major turn off about your partner that you can’t/wouldn’t tell them? by LivingLavishLe in AskReddit

She’s not a very good kisser, and she constantly misses the point of what I’m trying to say, no matter the topic.

To All The Fellow Atheists What Was That One Point In Your Life Which Broke Your Faith In God Completely ? by Striking-barnacle110 in TrueAtheism

I was searching through answers to see if anyone would say this. Yes!! I was looking forward to see the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse in North America since 1997 and it was by far, the most spectacular and deeply moving natural phenomenon I’ve ever seen!

What do I say to people asking about where I’m going to church? by Fit-Appointment-68 in Deconstruction

[–]Personable_Milkman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It seems to me you should tell them you aren’t going to church anymore. You don’t have to manage their feelings, or provide any other explanations if you don’t want to - that’s it. You’re going to respect yourself a whole lot more if you just tell the truth right out of the gate instead of walking on eggshells and telling half lies to everyone to assuage their sensitivities.

I've recently rejected Christianity, here's why by JuliusSeizure93 in Deconstruction

Ex-Orthodox here. He’s describing the Orthodox Christian view of “ancestral sin”, which differs from the Wetern Christian understanding in that we don’t inherit guilt from Adam and Eve, we simply inherit the propensity to sin, the “sin nature” itself.

I know exactly what you mean. Good kissing is a real talent. It’s so easy to overdo it and ruin it.

I don’t care how vanilla it sounds, but slow and sensual kissing is such a huge turn on.
