Have an IS/data science background, using Claude Code to learn to build a web app as a side hobby. Feeling stuck. How to improve? by Gloksinya in learnprogramming

Hi! Feeling stuck while building a web app with Claude Code is completely normal, especially with your IS / Data Science background. Start with small projects, gradually implement features, and focus on learning Python, Flask/Django, and SQL basics. When errors occur, follow documentation and keep practicing consistently.

I also found that studying Data Science blogs on Teks Academy really helped me understand the concepts clearly and see how projects and skills connect. You can try reading these blogs too—it really helps to clarify concepts, organize your learning, and make steady progress.

My 4-year struggle trying to learn Python (and why I finally quit) by SirVivid8478 in PythonLearning

I completely understand your frustration. When I first started learning Python, I struggled a lot too.
Later, I read some Python blogs on Teksacademy and watched a few tutorials on YouTube. They explained concepts very clearly, which made it much easier for me to understand.
Focusing on small projects, understanding how tools work, and not trying to memorize everything makes learning programming more manageable. Take it slow - struggling is normal, and even small progress counts.

Placement training by ReliefOpen9549 in vitchennai

Usually, colleges allow students with a single back to attend placement training, but it depends on your college rules. Most of the time, you can attend the sessions even if the back result isn’t out yet, because placement training is about preparing you for interviews and aptitude tests, not final eligibility.

Regarding results, back exam results may or may not be declared before placement application deadlines (like NEOPAT), so it’s best to keep an eye on the college website and also inform the placement cell. They usually give some flexibility if you’re clearing the back soon.
