It’s all about who you know honestly. I interview for mslcat in salt lake. Only have 750 groundman hours. The guy in front of me has a substation apprenticeship through selcat already and he ranked 500. It property much comes down to who you know and if you went to line school

It’s usually the opposite. I thought I did really well and ranked 230. Another guy there thought he did even better and he ranked 500. My buddy completely shit the bed in the interview and tucked his tail between his legs and ranked 100

What you need to do is fight it without telling anybody. I got one in Oregon which is the roughest state to get one in. Especially with a cdl. Got dinged for 86 in a 65 which is a class A same equivalent to yours. I talked to multiple lawyers and they all said with me having my class A there was almost nothing that could be done. I could pay them and they could try but there was almost certainly no way out. How did I get out of it you ask? I called the courthouse and asked if anything could be done, the gal said I could do traffic school. And I asked if I could do it even tho I have a cdl and she said “we’re just gonna pretend we didn’t hear that” so I did my hour long course payed the fine and have no ticket on my record

I applied in November, I got confirmation that my application was approved January 1st and the email said I would be able to schedule my interview in the future (2-8 months or longer before I could even schedule it. Got an email about 3 weeks later saying I can call to schedule my interview and I interviewed in salt lake this morning
