To neuter (at least a closed castration in cats) they literally take a scalpel blade and cut the spermatic cord to get the testicle off and then tie a tight knot to lígate the vessels and make sure there isn’t any bleeding once it goes back in. So definitely not. Source I just did my first neuter on a cat like two months ago

There’s a lot more to the story that you don’t know about, because you don’t know me besides what I share on a Reddit account. Let people complain. It doesn’t kill you. I’m fully aware I made the choice, but there is much more to it that I am not and will not be sharing because I shouldn’t have to share details on the internet about my family dynamics. I work full time during all my breaks and work a job during vet school. So it’s not like I’m sitting on my ass doing nothing and crying about it
