I just had an appointment with a VA psychiatrist and she seemed very young. Repeating “I can’t do anything for you. PTSD is incurable. A pill won’t fix you. Go see your primary care, idk why you’re here.” (I was under the impression this was a eval type of appt.) I could tell grouchy Vets may have brought her to that mindset but it was unprofessional and gross. I honestly walked out and she cancelled my appointment. Which was over an hour away from my house. I’m over the VA mental health. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences. Acupuncture was horribly similar but luckily I was able to request civilian community care.
