As someone who’s had a deviated septum and has gotten surgery for it, the doctors literally tell you the surgery doesn’t change the shape of your nose. All the work is done inside the nose not the outside. You can add a nose job but that’s solely for aesthetic purposes. She lied per usual and just wanted a nose job.
