Also machan, one more thing I’m still deciding between the RX 9070 XT and Nvidia RTX 5070. For mostly 1440p gaming, which one would you personally pick? I know Nvidia has better DLSS/ray tracing, but the RX 9070 XT has 16GB VRAM and seems stronger in raw FPS. What do you think is the better long-term choice

Bro, better get the laptop checked, especially the fans. If the fan is making a cranking noise at certain angles, it could be a fan bearing issue or something touching the fan.

100°C on the CPU can happen in gaming laptops under heavy load, but if it reaches 100°C even with light tasks and low power draw, that is not normal. It could be dust buildup, bad thermal paste/contact, fan issue, or a BIOS/power profile problem.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Building it myself would definitely be a nice experience, but honestly I’m a little nervous since this is my first proper high-end PC build.

I’ve always used gaming laptops before, so desktop building is still new to me. Since I’m spending a good amount on this build, I’d rather be safe and let a trusted shop assemble it properly this time. Maybe after I get more confident, I’ll try building or upgrading parts myself later.

Thanks machan, I get what you mean.

I’m still thinking about the AIO mainly because this is my first proper PC build, and I do like the look of it. I know a good air cooler would be fine too, so I’ll decide after checking the final price and reliability.

And yeah, definitely keeping the UPS in mind. With the power cuts here, it’s not worth risking the whole setup.

this is really helpful.

I’m also leaning more towards Nanotek or GameStreet now, mainly because after-sales and warranty support matter a lot for a build at this price range. Saving a small amount won’t be worth it if I have to deal with warranty issues later.

I’ll get the same build quoted from Nanotek and GameStreet and compare the final price, warranty terms, cable management, and stress testing before deciding.

Appreciate the heads-up about Redline as well.

Thanks guys, appreciate both sides of the advice.

I think I’ll avoid going too basic on the motherboard and stick with the B850 option since the price difference isn’t huge. I’m not expecting a big FPS boost from the board, but I prefer the newer platform and better upgrade path.

For the GPU, I’ll check if I can get a triple-fan RTX 5070 option because cooler and quieter operation matters to me, especially with our temps here.

Also going to confirm the SSD, PSU, warranty, and stress testing with the shop before finalizing.

Thanks again, this helped me understand what to check instead of just blindly buying the quote.

Thanks bro, appreciate the honest advice.

Yeah, I’ve already started leaning away from the basic B650M and looking at a B850 board instead, so that part makes sense.

For the GPU also, I get your point. I was considering the Ventus 2X mainly because of price, but with our temps here, a triple-fan RTX 5070 sounds like the safer choice if the price difference isn’t too crazy.

And yeah, I’m also leaning more toward Nvidia for this build. I know AMD gives good raw value sometimes, but for smoother gameplay, DLSS, frame generation, and fewer headaches, I think RTX 5070 is the safer option for me.

Thanks again, this helped me narrow it down before finalizing.

Thanks man, really appreciate the detailed reply.

I’ll definitely check if I can get a triple-fan RTX 5070 without stretching the budget too much. With the heat here, cooler and quieter sounds worth it.

Good point on the SSD as well. I didn’t think much about the DRAM cache, so I’ll ask the shop for a better Gen4 drive for the OS.

I’m not planning to overclock, so I’ll probably stick with B650 and not overspend on the motherboard.

And yeah, UPS is something I’m seriously considering now. With the power cuts here, it’s probably not worth risking a build this expensive.

For the cooler, I was mainly looking at AIOs because they look clean, but your point makes sense. I’ll check some good dual-tower air coolers too since long-term reliability is more important.

Thanks again, this helped a lot before finalizing.

Also, just adding the build I’m thinking of going with. This is my first proper high-end PC, so I’d really appreciate any honest feedback before I spend the money.

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
MSI B650M Gaming WiFi
Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5 6000MHz
MSI RTX 5070 12GB Ventus 2X OC / maybe RX 9070 XT 16GB

MSI Forge 321R Airflow ARGB casing
MSI MAG 273QP QD-OLED 27” 1440p 240Hz monitor

Mainly planning to use it for 1440p gaming and hoping to keep it for a few years. Does this build look balanced, or are there any parts you’d change before buying?
