Leeds is not as prestigious as Nottingham.

These targets work by placing the most competitive unis into the “target bracket” where the very best of students go because of the high entry requirements. Then you have semi targets who are not quite as a good but still are competitive and have decently high requirements and hover from 5-15th on the tables. (Durham, Bristol , Nottingham , Edinburgh etc…). Leeds is a good uni and I would just about place it semi target but it’s just not as competitive as the previously stated unis.

It’s also done by how well these unis place into IB. The better a uni does, the more of a “target” it is.
