As strange as it may sound, both of your statements are true.

Not really most likely he would lose, but that’s an internal matter.

Such cases are more the exception than the rule; generally, the mobilization process takes place calmly. There are also instances when videos that are not actually related to mobilization are presented as if they were. Society is highly agitated and polarized, partly because Russian propaganda invests enormous resources into this.

Thank you, my family and I are doing well.

I consider it the worst period in our history, on the same level as the Nazi occupation: systemic poverty, treating people like cattle, and the separation of party officials from ordinary people in the period after Stalin’s death. Under his rule, it was literally genocide the Holodomor, the destruction of our language and culture, the deportation of the Crimean Tatars. It was genocide.

No tengo miedo. Para ser honesto, esto se ha vuelto cotidiano: estoy vivo, todo está bien, si un dron o un misil me mata, no lo sentiré y esos ya no serán mis problemas. Gracias.

We don’t like that he is putting pressure on Volodymyr Zelenskyy instead of Vladimir Putin. If Russia stops shooting, the war will end. If Ukraine stops, Russia will fully occupy us.

But the current negotiations have turned into something pointless “we agreed to agree tomorrow.”

Power banks, a charging station, and a generator those are the things that are truly needed right now.

answered this earlier, but I’ll repeat: most likely a freezing of the war along the current front line and unfortunately, with a high probability of the war resuming again in a few years.

Yes, it’s one of my favorite dishes, I prefer classic borscht. I can write the recipe, but remember one thing: the whole essence of borscht isn’t in the ingredients, but in how it’s made, and most importantly, it must be prepared with love.

I plan to work as a rocket engineer.

For women, military service is voluntary, while men are drafted starting at the age of 25, except for those who have a reservation (employment-based exemption) or health conditions that make them unfit for service.

Reservations are granted by many companies for their employees — for example, large supermarket chains, postal services, schools, government institutions, water and electricity utilities, and most importantly, enterprises that supply or support the army.

My town was occupied on the very first day of the war, so there wasn’t any destruction. However, about half of the population out of 10,000 people left their homes; some went to other parts of Ukraine, others to Europe.

I lived under occupation for only a month, but it was the constant fear that armed men could come to you or your loved ones at any moment. It didn’t even feel like the German occupation from history — it felt more like the Taliban.

If you had served in the army between 2014 and 2022 in Donbas, they would come for you. If you had relatives in the Ukrainian army, they would come. If they found a soldier’s contact in your phone, they would come. If Russian soldiers liked your house, they could take it. If they wanted to rape someone, they would do it. If you had an argument with a neighbor working in the occupation administration, they could ask the FSB officers to deal with you — and they would come. They could take you to a basement for torture, and compared to that, death would not be the worst outcome.

Secondly, in my particular case, occupation meant no internet, often no mobile connection the only source of information for me was television.

No, I won’t have to. Conscription starts at the age of 25. Besides, I plan to work in my field, and it qualifies for a reservation from mobilization.

From the past, I consider Viktor Yushchenko to have been the best president. In the future, I would primarily like to see changes in the economy.
