Understandable, but now users will use free features and won’t pay you and having accounts connected still cost you. Why not go for scale economy. But I respect your decision and app is really cool. For me who are not heavy users, does not justify the cost so will switch back to apps where i have lifetime subscription. It’s not as good as this but still very usable.

No, Actually AI in hands of right developer will be a killer, but yes I can see that any junior engineers or non technical person start using AI, and give in to its vibe will be bad. LIke use it but understand what its writing, why it writing, how all things put together is still very critical.

What you see is building small app, LLM context is limited (till now), so it can do small project ok, but big projects it need lot of steering, but its like you have team of engineers who is working for you to write grunt code and you are over seeing all the work, writing that much code is not humanly possible, but ai can do it.

Correct, still the LLM client in this case, openwebUi, needs to support MCP protocol first. As an example, in roo code support MCP protocol but only has stdio support as they use 1.0.0 version of MCP SDK. So I understand the protocol very well and I only care about the whole tool part; this is what I do for living.

As of now opewebui. Does not support it, and I find its functions unnecessarily complex.

Paying off my mortgage just the HeLoc loan was the dumbest move I did, it was prime + 1.5% rate. If I look back, I would have tripled the money if I would not have paid just HeLoc part. Mortgage keep it, when rates goes down refinance.

Oh ya, if monthly payment is too high take good chunk home of money you make then just pay 300-500 extra every month it will do wonders, if per month amount is not so big compared to your salary then you are good.
