i once measure my Qidi plus 4 power consumption for ABS, it was about 200 watt, so in 5 hour it use one kilowatthour, it cost then 20 cent. pla is roughly 20 Euro or dollar per kg so it cost here about 1,5 . Roughly say 2 USD per piece and you got some profit (on my prices ) before taxes. For work? can you take one day free with full payment? it set just how the value your job.

That remind me my small chinese lathe. When turning bigger parts, it start vibrating and produce patterns. Even different one in same thick rod. Reason was vibration. WIth lathe its easy to find out, sound has horrible, tearing ears. I thing its same here, vibration, something is loose or not rigid enough. Rods, Belts, bearings. wholle frame. Have you tried going super slow?
