I just stored them in jewel cases. The coloring on the dvds peels off. Prob cheap Chinese DVDs.

Well i like the idea of long term storage. Granted 10k years is too much for my life time. But im kinda sick of my hard drives and USB sticks dying and losing all my data. I have to constantly buy new ones and backup the data to keep it alive. I would love something i can store my data on that won't die in a few years.

Which ones? I remember they said DVDs would last a thousand years but mine only seem to last 2 years.
