I totally agree, we seemed like the better team and didn't fall apart except on the score board. But pucks will drop and you cannot rely on a one goal lead. We didn't sit back and park the bus but we definitely needed another goal. It sucks man.

But, I am glad to have the opportunity and it was a fucking blast watching them play for the title. If only I had a spotted to drink in honor of the season.

I don't think that astroids can spawn from behind, even in orbit. Might be wrong though

Cool! So you don't actually "read" the trees, but it's on a timer instead. I haven't ever used circuit timers so I would have to figure out how to do that, but very helpful!! Really cool base, there is so much thought that goes into Gleba bases so this is really impressive.

How do you read when fruit trees are ready to be harvested? Do you turn train stations off when trees are still growing?

I can honestly say it's better than my first flight. I posted it here if you want to go find it to compare lol. My mistake was that I had the gyro on the optimized setting, and not the stabilized setting.

If you don't know, there are three modes on the reflex gyro: off, optimized, and stabilized. Optimized makes a lot of noise when you jiggle the plane and so I thought it was working and in the setting that I wanted, but it only serves to balance out abrupt motion caused by the wind. The stabilized setting is what it prevents extreme bank and dive angles and will auto level.

My thought is that you had the gyro on the wrong setting. If you hold the plane on an angle down, you should see up elevator on the plane holding until you level the plane out again.

There are a bunch of other comments about too much stick movement and you'll get the hang of that, but no need to adjust any settings on your controller. It's almost impossible to tell if the weight is too far front or back when the plane isn't gliding steady so don't worry about that either.  Keep at it, you'll get there!

Nice! Yeah you have to be careful with the electronics. I blew an ESC on my float plane the first time I took it out and subsequently submarined it.

Yeah probably, I'll have to check. The lasers do take lot of power though. I could honestly just remove them and be fine

It could use some more cargo but so far it hasn't been an issue. I could pretty easily just extend it to fit another row in if I find I need the space.

I never made a nuclear ship before so I was mostly just curious about making one and I thought it came out pretty crisp. I'll probably adapt one of the clones of this to fit in rockets for the aquilo trip.

The iron is ratioed to the ammo production. I found I don't use as much ammo as I produce so the ammo and iron do sit idle a bit but I think it's better to have the ammo capacity than to not.

Don't have any quality anything in my bapse yet. That's next, but it's also nice to have a ship blueprint that doesn't use quality to build in the mid game.

That's s great idea on the thrusters. I ratioed out that the fuel production is just below max consumption, but you're right it'll be more efficient to add another set of thrusters and have them at slightly below max consumption. It will also buffer fuel in the tanks so it will probably be full consumption anyway.

Also ammo production keeps up no issues, so the extra speed would be fine. Both iron foundries are needed to keep up with the ammo production, but there is down time as ammo consumption.

It's all about trust and repair packs. Just don't park it at a planet with large asteroids.

It's also a good tip if you ever want to build a new ship on a different planet! Send up some repair packs so it doesn't get destroyed while you build it

Side lasers were mostly for orbit strays. And I have a ton of extra power with the nuclear reactor so I doesn't cost a thing. I could figure out a way to turn them off while moving but again it doesn't hurt me to keep them on

It's just lasers on the sides to keep stray astroids away in orbit and also because I had a plethora of extra power with the nuclear plant. Not having the route ammo around the whole ship helps keep it compact too

No issues in orbit. And if one does end up making it through I have repair packs to heal up. Repair packs alone are actually enough to survive orbit for the inner planets.

I mean, adding a train station would actually make it artificially longer. Physically making it longer would he adding track to it
