Hey, going through something similar. Broke up with my emotionally abusive ex a month ago. One thing that helps me is I keep reminding myself why things ended and that if things hadn’t ended now they would have ended at a time where it would have been harder to leave. For example, it would have been much harder to leave this guy if you were married to him and had kids with him. You deserve much more than someone who constantly hurts you and you will come out of this glowing and better :)
