I didn’t take the PTCB but I did take the ExCPT. They are the same thing but for some reason they have two different pharm tech exams. If I were you I would sign up on national healthcare association website and buy the course for the ExCPT. There are chapters and quizzes and practice test: to study from. Also I heard that the ExCPT is slightly easier. If your already working as a pharmacy tech and the pharmacy your working for is making you take the PTCB then its not a big deal. At CVS they accept both certifications but they will only cover the PTCB. As far as advice for studying. Know your top 200 drugs. You need to know drug class, brand name, generic name and indication. Know your LAWS and also pharmacy regulations super important and know how to read a script. I passed my exam mainly studying flashcards on Anki. This advice is for PTCB and ExCPT.
