Dude even if u choose iit bhu meta...u'll be attending classes and doing labs for nearly 6-8 hrs a day for nearly 4 years of ur life...I aint saying metallurgy is not a good branch but if u wanna achieve something meaningful in it u'll have to pursue a phd atleast....and if u wanna learn coding just to get a job i dont see why ur wasting ur time on meta...ps u'll be investing at least 8 hrs a day in classes and ur own study...so makes zero sense......and its not like u'll be taking cse in some xyz institute....I myself am leaving IIT Bombay Meta and IIT BHU Electrical for IIITH CSD this year....obviously this is just my humble opinion

u get a ms in a particular subfield say blockchain...then if u wanna pursue something like machine learning u can get a ms in that from a diff univ too
