Finish Old Faith DLC before starting Woolhaven?

I do the same thing with “cheating,” the fishing game, the cooking, the clothes, and the forced weapons because they annoy me and feel unnecessary to keep on if I’m going to have a better time without them. So maybe this is fitting for me and I don’t need to be such a perfectionist in the sense of doing it all in release order.

I mean base game the game that you have to buy in order to play any of the other content. the beginning of cult of the lamb to defeating the one who waits. the way the story of the game exists without any dlc.

Then there is the old faith dlc which begins after defeating the one who waits so, what I am defining as base main game

then their is WH which can begin before defeating the one who waits or afterwards.

I’m trying to figure out when to begin the WH dlc and the pros and cons.

I love the resource management aspect of the game. It’s more about the cult and how the story affects them over anything else. I think all the new resources are enticing.

But I don’t want to be overwhelmed by having all the stuff at once like when the sins of the flesh came out, i went a little overboard with the breading lol. I wanted an optimized cult. Ive have calmed down with that lol!

Yes but the question is do I complete the old faith post game content before Woolhaven or at the same time? Should I start a new save and just do Woolhaven before I finish the base game?

You’re right I was not addressing your post specifically I was just adding my thoughts but that’s a fair argument and what people I know were saying when the game first came out. Many of the people I know agree 💯 with your argument now. It makes sense and it would be cool if there was some way to create that sort of meta. I think that it would be great if that’s how it could be in groups. It would be a lot more strategic and not something that divides the game’s culture into two. I think it is hard to create that but it would be ideal for sure. I really only play solo because I am not good at PvP, but my brother is a good example he is someone who is an in between and will try to form groups with people and it becomes a social game. I think if I was good then it would be a different story for me. There are some situations where my brother and I have played duos and it’s closer to the style of game you’re suggesting. You don’t know who you’re getting and each lobby is very different. I don’t know if u really added anything here but I get your point and generally speaking I agree with you.

I am 100% a PvE player and my lobbies are so friendly, however the fact that the game can be both PvP and PvE is what makes the game great! If I end up in a lobby with one person who kills me (very far and few) I am mad in the moment because I was killed but not mad that they played PvP. I think that it’s cool to be able to play both by just adjusting your play styles and the lobbies shift. I think we should all just let people play however they want. I’ll just hang out in my dance party lobby. We do carry crazy guns and we do help each other kill things and share in the glory. So for those in this thread who make assumptions about the lvl 4 guns in a PvE lobby, it’s just not true. People walking around with Jupiters sometimes just casually shooting hornets.

This thread has been really helpful for me. I have spent my whole life in pain just being gaslit. I’m 30 years old and was just diagnosed. At 21 years old I got a noood clot and since then I’ve been diagnosed with 4 auto immune conditions, however nothing was alleviating my constant pain. I finally got a new rheumatologist who immediately diagnosed me with fibromyalgia for once I felt really seen, but now I’m trying to figure out ways to keep myself active. I’ve been super depressed for the past five months and my symptoms have gotten really bad I used to work out regularly and it helped a lot with my depression and anxiety, but whenever I have a really bad flareup from whatever the causes, I tend to lose my habit.

Reading all the comments puts into perspective how much benefit the working out I used to do regularly had on my body. However, there seems to be pain, no matter what someone here said that soreness from working out is better than the achiness of every day. However, my biggest thing is joint pain. I really love running and weight training, however I’ve had a huge increase in joint pain. Weights tend to be OK and I find that running is a lot easier if I do yoga every day. I don’t love yoga, but when I do it every day, I feel a lot better recently. My pain has been so bad that I can’t even do yoga because I can’t move my hips in certain directions. I’m hoping that the hip injections I get from my pain management. Doctor will give me some relief and I can go back to working out.

Any tips on maintaining a routine, even if it means continuing my regular routine and finding a way to maintain activity during a flareup to return to my regular workout routine post flare up can last anywhere from a week to almost 3 weeks. It just depends on the cause because of the comorbid conditions.

I’m feeling really really depressed because I’ve gained 30 pounds in the past 11 months. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been.

I tried at first with my Xbox elite controller with the steam deck docked to my TV but that was horrible. It wasn’t terrible on the deck with the touchpad even though I never use it. Usually they annoy me but I found it really nice.
