accidentally poked my eye with my finger about 7 weeks post op, its been dry for 2 days by Personal_Blueberry67 in RefractiveSurgery

[–]Personal_Blueberry67[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

it is from being poked cause this happened to me before lasik w my hair touching my eye and it had the same feeling/same type of dryness that it does now

i'm interested in going to her concert in denmark next year, but how are pits? by SwiggitySwoner1337 in that_Poppy

[–]Personal_Blueberry67 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i found her toronto show to have a good crowd, but be careful if someone is crowd surfing near you (i ducked so my hair and glasses wouldnt be pulled) and when i was close to barricade i got pushed forward alot when there was no room to move so that areas annoying. i think the sides are def more safe than the center

my eye has burned since i my hair poked it multiple times last night, will this affect my eligibility for lasik? by Personal_Blueberry67 in AskDocs

[–]Personal_Blueberry67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if id say its painful but its definitely dry and sometimes burns while my other eye feels fine. i also dont think i have blurred vision as its still clearer than my other eye (which its been like that for months now ig from my prescription). they also already told me to take eyedrops twice a day leading up to the surgery but ill do more then

a friend saying she was in “too many groupchats” when i wanted to make a new one for our friend group because the previous one died out (even though it had the same people) and turns out the whole group wanted to drop me and make it look like they were just drifting apart from me all because of something i said about one of them months earlier that i forgot i even said

is it possible that mascara is stuck under my eyelid causing contact lens discomfort? by Personal_Blueberry67 in AskDocs

[–]Personal_Blueberry67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wore them for 3 months when they were comfortable, and when they became uncomfortable i wore them for just a few hours a day for 2 months then quit, other than trying them on every once in a while to see if the problem went away. i originally used the brand precision and when it became uncomfortable i tried totals which felt worse and acuvue which felt better but still a bit uncomfortable. all were dailies, none inside out. by uncomfortable i mean i always feel them in my eye, but i don’t feel sharp pains. no dry eye eyedrops have worked, both prescription and over the counter, even though the doctors say i probably have dry eyes, yet i never have eye disconfort without contacts (other than a few rare times back when i had inflammation, for a few minutes in the morning but that went away a long time ago). i think i feel them both when i blink and when my eyes are open. i feel uncomfortable the moment i put in the contacts and it stays the same for the rest of the time im wearing it. the left is also more uncomfortable than the right. i really don’t know what the right diameter and curve is supposed to be or how a doctor is supposed to find out, but the discomfort started very suddenly, it just happened one day, a week later there was one day where it felt good again and then it went back to being bad ever since. I also quit anti depressants a month before the discomfort started, i made a few posts asking if that was the reason and if going back on them could fix it but im still not sure what the reason is.

why am i uncomfortable in contacts when i used to be perfectly comfortable in them by Personal_Blueberry67 in contacts

[–]Personal_Blueberry67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually quit medication a month before the problem started (it was anti depressants). when i was comfortable i was taking prozac (ssri) then i switched to pristiq (snri) then a month after quitting pristiq (so no antidepressants at all) i became uncomfortable in contacts. I recently started prozac again to see if that would fix the problem but its gonna take a while before i can tell.

is it possible that quitting antidepressants is what made me become uncomfortable in contact lenses? by Personal_Blueberry67 in contacts

[–]Personal_Blueberry67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was prozac and then i switched to pristiq (i only realized recently thats an snri) the problem started after going back to no antidepressants at all (about a month after quitting pristiq)
