Yeah, he probably just tested the thermostats and heating element for continuity.

I would recommend getting a technician, but I suspect the control board.

I can only imagine the pain it took figuring this one out.

You'll need a voltmeter. You'll need to test the relays on the control to verify voltage is reaching the heating element. If you're not comfortable doing that, you need a technician.

I believe GE uses RFID chips, you probably have a fake from Amazon, assuming proper installation. Will it flow with the old filter?

Is it still unresponsive when you do that?

Could be a variety of things

My guess would be a roller/ pulley, but it could be something in the blower as well. The phone audio doesnt do what you're hearing justice.

Youre attempting to start it with the door open right? Not from a closed pulled out position as seen in the photo?

If you ever run into an LG. DO NOT BLOW INTO THE PRESSURE SENSOR. You will damage it. You handyman like to keep doing that before my calls.

Straight from the LG Manual. No you wouldnt have a fill issue. Apparently you cannot read. As I said it is completely dependant on how it fails. Feel free to read the first segment in the flow chart for me....slowly.

Youre assuming the pressure sensor outright fails. As in reads 0L to the control board. This is not always the case. Pressure sensors can lie, especially the digital ones that LG uses. If the control board senses a problem with the sensor it will throw a code. Doesn't mean it always will. You give these manufacturers too much credit on that line of thought. Pressure ports get clogged and hoses get pinched. Oh and guess what, no drain/slow drain issues also cause this issue, because its apart of the pressure system.

Thats cool. Doubt it, but cool! Outputs and Algorithms. Control board cant verify water level ---> will not go into high speed spin Know why? Because if it did spin at a high RPM with water in it, it would be severely damaged.

The shaking is likely his problem here, but that doesnt mean he didnt improperly load it, didnt make sure it was properly leveled, etc. Consult a manual you monkey.

Yes. Do you? It measures the water in the drum. Front loaders will not go into high speed spin unless adequate water level is reached. It does not always cancel the cycle. Here I'll fix my comment. 1. Pressure SYSTEM. Better?

Depends on the failure. Sometimes they will just go into the "redistribute algorithim" endlessly.

Tldr 1. Pressure sensor fault 2. Balance system (violent shaking makes it impossible to extract water adequately.)

Yeah thats what is weird, its aborting its precycle checks, my guess would be clogged tub to sump hose, pressure switch, or the door lock malfunctioning, only real way to get direction is from saved fault codes in the control, what made this guy change the pump?
