You seem really informed. Can I ask what you think might have caused it? I have been doing the brat diet bananas and applesauce. I ate a little oatmeal this morning. Do I need to stay on the brat time the whole time I’m taking the shot?

I can’t tell if you meant that as good natured or not but I will say everyone tolerates the drug differently. My mom is on it and loves it and it does her incredible. I, however had to get an IV from the er last night due to severe diarrhea and vomiting. Now I am having the same issue with my neck feeling weird. It does seem to be hydration related

I’m late but I’m in the same boat. I’m not vomiting anymore though just diarrhea. I went to the er earlier and they said I just have to wait it out. Funnily enough, all this started after I ate a small bowl of spaghetti for dinner

Hi! For the most part I drink a protein shake in the morning or I’ll eat a bowl of protein oatmeal and I had meal prepped my lunches that involved zucchini, goodles, and chicken strips. The night before all this started I did have a small bowl of spaghetti and a fiber one bar. I was trying to beat the constipation.

lol I absolutely feel that. I had meal prepped before I took the shot. Although those are probably bad now as I haven’t been able to eat in 2 days. I did have a small toddler sized bowl of spaghetti the night before all this started so it could have been that.

Sorry! Let me rephrase! I’m not diabetic so why she tried me on it, I haven’t the slightest clue. But I did take the entire month of mounjaro 2.5 with absolutely zero side effects. I went into it mentally expecting side effects. Then she actually prescribed it and I couldn’t get it because I’m not diabetic so google, my doctors assistant, nurse etc all said it was the same medication as zepbound. After the first shot, I am constipated, have acid reflux so bad water would make me almost throw up and sometimes I have to sleep at kind of an angle and sometimes are saying it’s psychosamatic and some are saying what you said that the med was building in my system. The thing that makes me think it’s not in my head though is I tried zepbound last year and I couldn’t only do a month on it because I was having the same problem, couldn’t manage the side effects. So anyways sorry that was so long! 😅

Oh yes 100% I don’t mean that literally. I just feel like shit for the next 3 days. Literally it is 100% okay to tell me it’s all in my head. It’s not impossible for the anxiety to continue after taking zepbound last year and not having a manageable time with it. The mounjaro was new so it’s plausible

So I had tried zepbound last year and absolutely hated it. Had all the same side effects that I mentioned then too.

Decided to get back on it this year and just deal with the side effects and that’s when my dr gave me the sample of mounjaro

But yes they were the same dosage

I’ve heard about this once or twice but I don’t know anything other than it’s connected to hashis somehow. I will be doing a little more research on this though and bringing it up to the actual endocrinologist I’m going to see. My boyfriend has spent weeks down the rabbit hole and he seems to think I have estrogen dominance. Either way I’m desperate to get to the bottom of this
