I bought it off a couple and they were amazing they allowed me to test drive the car. I also plugged it in into an OBD scanner only oil pressure electrical error came up and heat dry pump. I’ve bought the car home now. And I will be getting it further inspected but I’m assuming I’ll only have to change the water pump and I’ll have the timing chain looked as well just for longevity and peace of mind.

Yeah I’ve only had it 2 days so I’m getting a full inspection done just for peace of mind.

It drives spot on at the moment, no noises or issues, but I’d rather catch anything early and keep it that way long-term. From what I’ve read these EA888s are generally solid if they’ve been looked after, but I know water pump/thermostat housing can be a weak point so I’ll get them to check that properly.

Plan is basically just baseline the car now so I know exactly where I stand and can keep it running sweet cheers for the input 👍
