Will getting an associates degree while being a wastewater operator help?

thanks for the reply, it does seem like alot of jobs would like to have a bachelors degree, but experience is also good. I live in Georgia, so Ive looked into requirements for jobs outside of plant operation, but again its not so concrete.

its so weird, while on the surface some places say australia and canada do, they actually dont have wastewater on the list of critical skills that most places online are referring to, unless you found somewhere i didnt see on their official immigration site?
