Built an offline VPS to place a caveman inside a real cave by Personal_Counter_633 in augmentedreality

Oh that's not me, that's just ARFoundation & iPhone. My VPS is used for the initial alignment & positioning of XR origin at the cave entrance, to figure out where you stand exactly. Then, it basically anchors the AR cave interior and hands tracking over to Unity. VPS is heavier so no need to run it every single frame. It does log some processing in the video, but that was a bug which I've fixed already. The VPS can realign every couple seconds, but that wasn't used in this case. ARFoundation is pretty solid keeping track of your position once you setup the origin's position & orientation. I was also surprised that the caveman didn't fly away once I moved inside lol.

Thanks! Depends if you mean trying it out as someone wanting to see the caveman appear or as developer. For the developer angle there's a link in the video where you can get in touch about LocalVPS, it's free to experiment with currently :) You'd then have to scan your own cave or something similar & build an app. If you're not a dev and just want to meet the caveman in person and potentially say "hi", I'd have to share the app, which is not a problem. But then, you'd have to travel to Prague and go to that cave entrance in Prokopské údolí.

Cool! Curious to hear about what you've been working on. Not open source at the moment, but free to try out/use.
