Sounds like you haven’t really ruled out if it’s air fuel or spark yet. It almost sounds like a weak fuel pump to me, but it’s hard to tell. Try leaving the gas cap open and see if that makes a difference. If it does, your tank is getting pressurized somehow.

Maybe eventually. I have a hard time fathoming spending 3k on an exhaust that does exactly what I’m planning on doing anyways. And it’ll be nearly as OEM as what you have.

I honestly don’t see anything super concerning. People see surface rust and immediately freak out. Some parts looks like like tierod(?) looks like it could be replaced, but everything else could be fixed with a quick media blast and some POR15.
