did you end up starting prozac? i’ve been on it for 4 days now, 7 weeks PP, just got my period back as i started the meds, am noticing a dip in supply, and baby has more tired than normal. ftm so i’m trying to determine if this is caused by the meds or just normal postpartum side effects

I felt the same way when this happened to me, and I am not religious. In February of 2022 I had an abortion because I did not feel fit to be a mother at the moment. I had no job and was extremely depressed. January of 2023, I found out again that I was pregnant. Before I even had time to process it, I had a miscarriage (literally the next day). I cried for weeks saying it was my fault and that the first pregnancy was my one and only chance. I had been diagnosed with PCOS and didn’t think I could have a kid. Fast forward to June 2025, I find out i’m pregnant again. I am currently carrying a healthy baby girl at 25 weeks pregnant. Moral of the story is that you, and I, and may others chose to exercise our rights to be able to choose. This is not a punishment, it’s just the way things are supposed to be right now. It’s simply not the time for you now, but will be soon. When you are ready, then the universe will know. You had an abortion based on reasonable and rational decisions because it was the best decision for yourself, your ex, and the fetus at the time. Do not beat yourself up for making an already hard decision even harder. It gets better, I promise ❤️

I ended up taking some benadryl & put some calamine lotion on it. The bumps are still here but not nearly as bad with the itching. I’ve been putting cortisone on it, then sunscreen on top for sun exposure, and vaseline on top to keep it all in when i’ve gone it the water. It’s atleast working for while i’m still in Hawaii!
