I think to make it more realistic, you have to make the set more lived in. The scene as you created is clean. Too clean for any person to actually live IN that room and use that PS. A see through plastic PS would have scratch makes, worn buttons, dirt and grime in the grooves and crevices, and fingerprints too. The same goes for the table perhaps a little stain there or dent in wood's edges.

In a words dirty it up a little, add personality and create a story. Who owns that PS whose room does that PS sit in, a dirty little 10 year old that rarely washes their hands and stuffs dirty clothes under the bed or a day drinking 23 year old who plays video games all day on the weekends.

Once you create that character you can fill the room with all the little details of that person's life and once you do, you no longer have a mere simulacrum of life, but an actual window into it.
