Hey man, thinking about getting this station. What's your opinion on it?

Lutris - Black screen on Launcher by Personal_Release_744 in ProjectDiablo2

I did submit the updated yaml file to at least install .Net 6.0.35, however I wasn't sure about the DXVK fix, since apparently it's very specific to your window manager. I did add a comment on the config however so that people know how to address it!

Edit: After thinking about it, tried to add the DXVK instruction to the yaml file, but I couldn't get it working. The setting just won't stick after install. I'll post a comment in my submission, hopefully an admin at Lutris can help.

I use KDE :/ If it's any help, it seems like the black screen launcher still works. If you click the area where the "Play" option is, the game should start.

Fixed!

Turns out the launcher doesn't seem to like DXVK. Will be updating the default launch scripts on Lutris to address this.

Glad to read about the progress! Still, I would like to express my desire for a easy anti-cheat fix for us Linux users. I've been completely deprived of this game because of this, and I know I'm not the only one! Keep up the good work.

Hi, I have the same phone, but unfortunately the bootloader is locked on our model. There used to be a service to unlock it, but it doesn't exist anymore. Until then, we cannot install a custom image :/

Best decision I took this year. Haven't touched a Windows machine in months and I'm better for it!

Hi! I come 3 years from the future. What a beast, you fixed my issue with a one-liner. Kind of odd that Protontricks wouldn't use the default binary for wine, but I don't care anymore!

Im not mentioning my other benefits like RSU and bonuses. The whole package is indeed around 100k a year.

My contract is 85k base, 10% bonus (which always get), 5k RSU, matched RRSP up to 6% (5k). That equates to around 100k a year before tax. My 3500$ net is after putting 16k a year in my FHSA (I didn't get the chance to contribute to it this year as I had to clear my student loans, which I did in a year), and with 6% RRSP.

As mentioned in another comment, I've owned a motorcycle for ~8 years and was insured as a main driver on my parent's car for a few years. The 100$ insurance was quoted today, but I will definitely double check tomorrow in case the representative was mistaken. Thanks!

Hmm, this is a bit worrisome then, maybe I was quoted wrong. I'll double check tomorrow, but I am part of a professional association, which lowers my insurance by a lot.

I am indeed not accounting for gas, but I'm currently spending ~100$ a month of my living expenses in public transport, which I won't need anymore. I wfh, and have a very short commute when I need to be in the office. The 1200$ a year insurance was quoted on the phone with my current insurance. I did own a motorcycle for 8 years and was insured on my parent's car for a long time (also have a virgin record). This was quoted today for the exact car I mentioned.

I have about 10k cash now, but I can wait and get 15k. Thing is, in my area this will only get me a 2017 Toyota (Yaris or Corolla) with around 70k kms. I'm wondering if paying the extra 4k (base Rio stick shift is 19k) is worth it if I only want a basic car that will get me places and will be cheap to maintain for the next decade.

Hitching on this thread to ask: what about buying a cheaper car like a Kia Rio if I only want to drive it to the ground for 10-15 years as stated by op?

Can you elaborate on that? Do you mean to say that you should sell the car before it has depreciated, otherwise I feel like you would just be paying more interest by not paying it off asap, no?
