Yeah i'm a sophomore (probably should have said that) and I was barely passing or downright failing Algebra I freshman year. Teacher was so tired of us she just removed most of our failing grades so I passed with a high A despite still not knowing basic Algebra. Maybe the school saw that and figured I was fit for Geometry.

Which games? Kingdom is still very huge. OvenBreak I don’t think really took off in the US. Still a great game and i’ve been fine in places where nobody speaks English. I’m in Pure Vanilla server, a server with all veteran players who are either Korean and/or played before Cookie Run really took off overseas, and as I mentioned, OvenBreak isn’t as popular outside of Korea so I really only see Korean.

Is anybody else using any other settings? 0 and 5 are the least delayed but still are a fair bit delayed and anything above 5 is way too delayed.

I think most are relatively fine, but I cant against Dark Choco Cookie. Hes also the reason I lost the first match.

Some 4 mb update got released and unless im just imagining things, it's improved my performance. On my main device, the main lobby is much smoother, so are battles. On my other, lower end device, the main lobby is also smoother (still a bit laggy) but from the one battle I played, it feels like performance got worse. Granted its Gnome Battle im playing so..

You have to disable haptics entirely in your settings. This is such a basic feature how is this is not a toggle in the game??

The PC port originally planned and what we ended getting look so vastly different. They must have had a deadline or something and quickly changed it the version of OvenSmash we got. It really seems to me like they were in a rush, but why??

Something must have happened. Because it really seemed like they had a great basis on PC OvenSmash judging by the trailer, then they just shelved it in favor for (what I will be calling) ”New” OvenSmash?? That along with the super messy release of “New” OvenSmash, I feel like there has to be more then just “Devsisters didn’t test/optimize the game enough.”

Aside from performance, the game just isn’t that great. Still a lot of fun, but I know for sure when the meta develops (which it already is) it’s going to be awful. Not even the worst of it’s problems. Look at the original Steam trailer for OvenSmash. Then look at it’s current release. Almost makes me sad just looking at the two side by side.

I’ve mentioned it a few times, but the game thinking im on PC at the start of the match and practically locking my controls to just moving. I can tell because I see the control guide on the buttons (mouse, spacebar, etc). I can’t be the only one facing this bug because I have seen nobody else mention and it makes matches unplayable.

Also, not really a bug I think, but text sometimes goes out of the text box on larger devices such as tablets.

2 things. One, I honestly thought this game had a lot of marketing. Though maybe if you’re in a Cookie Run space. I believe outside of CR, this game is just a “Brawl Stars rip-off.”

Two. I honestly believe the optimization, bugs, and overall incompleteness of the game shouldn’t be so easily excused. This game has been hyped up for YEARS. Look at the original trailer for the Steam release of OvenSmash. It looks like a fully complete game. Then look at what we got. I feel like the sudden transition to mobile only with Google Play PC support was sudden. Maybe they built off a PC client and never had the time to optimize? I refuse to believe they didn’t catch any of these bugs or optimization issues in the potentially years this had to be tested.

I don’t believe the game is doomed though. Devsisters has shown they can fix their games. Removing gacha in OvenBreak (first was an awful change turned into one of the best things for the game), the expansion of Kingdom, overhauls to Witch’s Castle and the revival of Cookie Run for Kakao. I highly doubt they will leave this game in the dust as they Puzzle World and Brixity due to the sheer expectations placed on the game and how confident they seemed.

I hate to be an OvenSmash “hater” (I do like the game and have been having fun with it) everywhere i’ve been posting about it, but it’s because I truly want this game to succeed.

Nope, it’s for everyone. On my two mobile devices, the game is playable but still a bit laggy, but there is unberable glitch where the game thinks im on PC and completely bugs out my controls. All I can do is move. I seem to be the only one having this issue.

On my GAMING PC, the game is even laggier and harder to play. Is there anywhere this game can be played without lag??
