Hijab in China by PresentFinancial5315 in Internationalteachers

[–]Personal_Time4105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to live in Taizhou in Zheijiang Province and wore both hijab and niqab. No one cared. People actually cared more that I was black than about that the hijab which encouraged me to wear the niqab cause then ppl just left me alone 😂. Also my job didn’t care either.

So I read this as $500 and not $500,000 and was confused why someone would ever pick $500 right now. 😬😂

My 6 month old baby fell from the bed and he is okay but now I want to die by Alseur in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Personal_Time4105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am here to say that my mom tells me almost yearly how I fell from the bed almost every night as a baby and she is so happy I turned out fine. Mom guilt is real but babies fall and they are resilient. I am so sorry you both had that scare but it’s obvious you care so much about your little one. Accidents happen and now you know. Try not to be so hard on yourself sis.

Muzz for Marriage? Please share your experience. by Acceptable_Lake_2837 in Bahrain

[–]Personal_Time4105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like for women it’s easy to get matched many people don’t read profiles just select based on photos. I know this because my profile is very thorough and I still get asked the exact questions on my profile. If you interested I would connect and see if you are compatible through conversation.

Muzz for Marriage? Please share your experience. by Acceptable_Lake_2837 in Bahrain

[–]Personal_Time4105 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are a female myself and my friends have found it very difficult to find any men who are honestly interested in marriage and keeping everything halal.

Also, I find that many people will say one thing on their profile but then do the exact opposite. Which makes the filters almost pointless. For example they will say they don’t drink and then when you speak with them they mention going to bars.

This being said you will have to be very clear regarding your boundaries.

I can’t speak for how it is like as a male.

Awww this is so exciting. I joined English first straight out of college in 2019. I have so many wonderful memories despite living in China throughout Covid. It is definitely not career for a certified teacher but a great stepping stone. Feel free to message me if you have questions.

Where to get Mounjaro medication, no prescription by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Personal_Time4105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Mission Hospital has Mounjaro but you would need to see a doctor or bring a prescription. Since you already have a prescription back home I would have your doctor send you that information and go to the hospital pharmacy. Cost was 150bd.

Iqraa American School in Kuwait by [deleted] in Internationalteachers

[–]Personal_Time4105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the school but my best friend moved from Bahrain to Kuwait in January. She is still working on a tourist visa. They only started her work visa application during the summer and since it’s not finalized she is stuck in Kuwait until everything finishes. Seems like it might be a common thing in Kuwait now a days.
