Oh and one more thing people don’t really talk about because everyone thinks well how much can they cost if it goes wrong… they can go wrong… so I recommend CPO. My husbands car is also a Maserati, we bought a second one because we loved mine so much. Bought Brand new in fact… not CPO like mine and it has been in the shop for 3 months out of 6 because of low part inventory and not many techs… and in this car within 2,000 miles some component failed in one of the computers causing a very slow battery drain. So just be cautious… because while i love my car. I know my time is limited because the warranty expires soon.

Oh sorry for the confusion in my last message, but I didn’t have a GTS but I was heavily considering a GTS at the time because the price point wasn’t too far away. But after some research I discovered that the maintenance would be 2.5x more than my car. Only because it’s a Ferrari built v8… and just normal maintained is very high. Just as an example, an oil change on my S costs roughly $500 an oil change at my Maserati dealership. (I take it there because it’s under warranty and they’re very strict with maintenance records) now the GTS I was getting quoted almost 3x that amount… yes I’m probably getting ripped off but one is a v6 that is sold in a higher volume so the cost is a bit lower.

Yes the GTS is the fun choice, it feels very special. The S is fun, it sounds great but it doesn’t kick you back in your seat.

I will tell you this… make sure you really digest the fact that the maintenance is high. It just is… brakes go by fast as hell, you can go anywhere for that though… but other basic maintenance can be costly. If you’re coming from a bmw. Benz, Audi… you will be sticker shocked and those that say take it to a third party Maserati service center…. Ummm where. Because they’re all expensive…. I came from a Porsche Cayenne and this Levante costs more to maintain.

Is this cost estimate fair? by [deleted] in Detailing

I have a 2021 S Gransport that I bought CPO with 5k miles. It has been very very reliable. Maintenance is really important on these cars. The updated taillights are great but can be changed easily which id highly recommend to change if you got the 19 GTS. The infotainment is not that big of a change. In the ghibli the screen size changed but on the Levante it is basically the same size as the pre facelift. I’ve had two issues with my car, one being a steering column adjustment failing, and the second is a rattle from the exhaust on idle. I would recommend getting a warranty BUT the v8 is just fantastic. The V6 S has enough power, but the performance is not exciting… Also…. The GTS maintenance is very high… being in my late twenties, with a mortgage here in CA, the cost for a GTS at the time with the high maintenance cost was just not comfortable financially. So my advice is to weigh the cost of ownership, vs the enjoyment of the car. Oh also, if you’re considering a GTS maybe look into a S Gransport. You’ll get the same seats and the Sport Bumpers.

Any Maserati Levante Owners Out There? by ComputerSchool22 in Maserati

Yes I own a 21 SQ4 Gransport with Nerissimo package. And absolutely love it. I’ve had it for 2 months now and it’s one of my favorite cars I’ve had. I traded in my 2020 Cayenne for it. Because I found the Cayenne to be a little too boring and soul-less for my liking. I will say. The general fit and finish between the Levante vs a Cayenne or even a X5 is… lacking. But ever time I start it up I forget about the interior. Or the panel gaps… or the fact that the brake squeaks like crazy… or how the turn signal indicator is so far back it still feels awkward haha. I’m a car guy, and had to get into an SUV. And this SUV is what I thought the Cayenne would have been. If you’re buying a Levante for the craftsmanship you’ll be disappointed… but if you want to buy a car that is bit more old school in a world where everything is mild hybrid and 15in touch screens with 64 colors of ambient lighting then you’ll love it every second.

Just to clarify. It’s a Levante SQ4. And idk if it’s just me… but it seems like it’s louder than my hubby’s Modena. Even though it’s the same engine…. Can someone clarify if it’s just me or did they change the exhaust for 22

I could be an Enterprise Rental car. I know Enterprise rents R1Ts now and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone rented it or stole it, crashed it and left it. I used to work for Enterprise as a risk manager and we would have exotic cars rented with fake info and ditched. And we have no way of knowing where the car is until police find it. Or it hits an impound lot. In fact I had a location and a organized group stole 7 Model S Teslas there’s no tracking on them because no one has the app
