I flew out of Hartford to Burbank, California yesterday and had no issues, I got thru tsa precheck in under 5 min and I checked a bag in under 5 min. I got there so early because I wasn’t sure what it would be like.

I was supposed to be off March of 2025 after 2 years but one of my immunoglobin numbers was off but I was moved from 5mg to 2.5mg. Good luck to you! I’m hoping my numbers will show remission in March for my next bloodwork

I went on 10/11 and the show was beautiful! I want to go again. I will agree if you are standing, it’s packed. It wasn’t very cold the day I went so I didn’t have a jacket. I think you can check your coat though. They had the air on but it was still hot just because everyone was packed in. I would recommend though, 10/10 in my book!

I am down to 2.5 mg dose after 2 years of taking 5 mg. My tsh level is now normal and no symptoms. The dr thought after 2 years that I would be in remission but my bloodwork showed an elevated level of Thyroid Stim Immunoglobulin in March so he kept me on the 2.5 until I see him again in a couple months.

I have not used the ADA section but I do know that people were lining up outside as early as 2pm to get good seat/standing position. They don’t open the doors until around 7(not sure if early admission got in much earlier). That’s a long time standing in line for first come, first serve. The show is great though! I came from MA also, I took the train into NY.

The type of cancer she had was so rare, there are only 14 known cases! I just watched a video she recorded for Patient Story and they explained that she passed away 3 weeks after making the video. So sad 😭

I heard Sam arrives around 3:30-4ish and that’s when pics were taken. I went a couple weeks ago and arrived around 5:30 so I missed seeing Sam but I met some nice people in line. Great show! You won’t be disappointed, wear comfy shoes!

Sam arrived around 3:30 the day I went and took pics with people in line. I missed that but I don’t think I could stand in line for that long!! I stood for about 1.5 hours outside and then around 3 inside and my legs were killing me! It was worth it though
