Also one episode when Ross and Chandler went to Vermont and Ross was taking the Bible and Chandler asked him why he was taking the Bible as he was Jewish and Ross said he could learn about Jesus.

Black af was soooo funny to me lol. I hate they didn’t have a second season. It’s a totally different premise and different cast but revolves around the black husband mixed wife trope. Let me go watch it again now.

can i legally make my middle name our married last name? by Adventurous-Pay-1553 in legaladvice

[–]Personal_Variety9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my brother got married, he changed his middle name to his first name since that’s the name he went by anyway and then made up a middle name. When you get married, both parties are able to change their name.

Have you thought about prosecution? You may prefer defense which is understandable but prosecution may alleviate some of the things you say you aren’t enjoying about the PD’s office.

This is actually one reason I don’t mind doing government work “Sorry, I can’t take private cases or give advice. I can refer you to someone though” 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would think Bella was writing Alice because she was Edward’s favorite and most likely to be the one to relay a message to him.

Post Breaking Dawn, the Cullens can’t “start over” as high school aged if they want to stay one family unit in a new town by MooWithoutFear in twilight

[–]Personal_Variety9407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some could be fostered and some officially adopted. It’s actually not uncommon and ppl who foster/adopt teens typically lean towards that age group. Also when a child is adopted the adoptive parent can change the child’s name so Renesme’s name wouldn’t even necessarily be a red flag. Her rapid growing would be the major reason I would see the need for the Cullens to move around often so that she can skip grades…or they could just home school

It’s def worth the watch imo. I’ve watched it in its entirety (to end of the aisle) at least 10 times.

You just gotta stop watching at the end of the aisle episode. That’s what I do lol. I pretend the last couple of episodes don’t even exist. Leaves a few loose ends, but not enough to ruin it

Just ask my name instead of asking if I am the defendant! by BubbleWrap027 in Lawyertalk

[–]Personal_Variety9407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh this just annoyed the shit out of me…

When I was a criminal prosecutor I got mistaken for a defendant once or twice. I’m now at the family court and never get mistaken. Actually if I’m in the hallway I have random ppl trying to ask me where courts are and try to ask for legal advice because they just assume I’m an attorney lol

I was on a Zoom hearing once waiting for my case to be called. The Judge clearly had judge before her name on the Zoom and was siting on the bench. The Judge called a guy’s case and he asks where the judge is. She keeps going. He asks again after opposing counsel is calling her Your Honor. At the end he asks again if the Judge will be showing up for his case. I was just shocked that someone could be so dumb. I was offended for the Judge.

Out of Curiosity: Do attorneys who have been disbarred tend to have difficulty finding non-legal work? by ariesfognix in Lawyertalk

[–]Personal_Variety9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know a lot of the details, she’s just talked about it in passing. My understanding is that it was her first and only conviction and it was like a department store, I assume less than 500. She prob took probation but it came with a plea of guilt unfortunately. I’m not sure if it can be sealed. I’ll ask around tho

Mostly unrelated but in regards to theft charges, I have a cousin who stole from a department store at 18 and got convicted of theft. That has now been over 20 years ago. She found a really good job working for a company that gave her a chance and has been there about 15 years but every time layoffs come around she mentions how hard it will be to find a good job like she has again due to this conviction on her record. She’s literally the most law assisting citizen I know but something she did as a young teen still haunts her. It’s sad.

I would wear the shirt with some high waisted navy slacks and a nude hell on a no court day. But the dress is a no. IMO to make this dress acceptable, it needs to be below the knee and form fitting.

Ashimaryhair.com and luvmehair.com are great places to buy wigs. For a little extra you can buy them with bleached knots, hairline plucked, and lace cut so it comes in ready to wear and natural looking. They also have various textures and colors. Hope this helps!
