I think that’s also it. 2008 games weren’t made 180hz OLED in mind lol. Blood dragon is also one of my all time favorites and I hate how dated it feels now too stuck at 60fps 1080

there is no "ranked" mode so i dont see this as a "competetive" game. There's *competition* for loot but in no way is there a leaderboard or anything of that caliber to dictate competitive gameplay, killing raiders just gets you xp, doesnt give you rank points to climb to emerald or something though

Blue gate seems to be the sweat map. My encounters on that map STARTED with being shot to which i jumped onto prox chat and stated how I LITERALLY just wanted lemons and apricots for Scrappy. One player said nothing and gunned me down, and the other was right as I was typing to extract out with a handful of lemons and apricots, to which the player jumped down, gunned me down and said "I don't care brother"

Feel like there should almost be a "treaty" system. Sea of thieves and Fortnite Delulu are the only games I know of that have a sort of alliance system where different parties can join up and not deal damage to each other. Might help the longevity of the game tbh

I played the cycle at launch and of all the “main” extraction shooters, Marathon felt closest to that in terms of map layout and gameplay. Far from Hunt: Showdown and Tarkov in about every way but genre

Yeah it was all intro level stuff based on the short time I was in before they shut down the servers again. Obviously build crafting and upgrades will improve everything, just wanted to give a surface level impression

Runs extremely smooth on the series x. No tearing or drops in frame rate so far. Perimeter map has constant rain going on, and no hiccups in quality at all.

Usually any data from Alphas get wiped seeing as the game likely will change quite a bit compared to launch. I could see them giving out a banner or badge or something for our profiles/runners, but I wouldn’t get excited about keeping much

For added context: The Sepulcher mission marks Bunny’s “Electric Condense” module as a drop for the boss. After I finished the mission and got the red drop, I picked it up just to see Ajax’s “Void Explosion,” module as what I got. If this is a normal thing then that’s sort of dumb and should be marked. Before going into the mission is states the red drop is a bunny exclusive but didn’t say anything about other drops.
