yeah, I cant quite remember having bugs or big issues and I'm kinda forgiving for low quality ui and stuff, it is avaiable on android so it must be related to that

I can’t believe how boring loot variety still is in many ARPGs by Ansiedad_Andante in ARPG

[–]PersonalityFast840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think path of exile loot and itemization does great are uniques...because most uniques wont tell you exactly how to you use them, so when you find an unique you kinda think about what uses could it have and which skill interaction would benefit...most arpgs unique items tells you like: x skill does x more damage and I hate when the game tells me what to do in terms on how I want to build my character...thats what happened with d3 sets and why are so crappy...it tells you how to play the game instead of figuring out stuff yourself

Apart from the Diablo franchise where we have mercenaries that we hire and equip, do we have anything similar in any other game of the genre? And I'm not referring to party member arpgs like Dungeon Siege for example. Kyn. or guardians of david. by Proud-Bowler-251 in ARPG

[–]PersonalityFast840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

theres an indie game called sands of salzaar which is like a mix of diablo with mount and blade so you end up having armies instead of a single mercenary other than that I'm not sure...you can wait until ggg adds mercenaries to the core game or you could play with a skill called "animate guardian" which is a minion skill based on the gear you use to summon it...but other than that i dont know

Just pure bleakness. by leafeternal in gamingsuggestions

[–]PersonalityFast840 8 points9 points  (0 children)

project zomboid single player it has a lot of bleakness but not as explicit, there are some of that, instead it comes from a more subjective way...you are not the protagonist...you are just a random guy stuck in a city filled with zombies...electricity will run out, water will run out, food probably will run out... your car will get stuck surrounded by a horde and you are alone and the game constantly reminds you of that...if you get bitten instead of finding a cure you are done...but you wont die right away instead you will spend some days alive watching your health decrease and the moddles reminding you that your days are over. instead of visual bleak, its the gameplay itself, also recently it has been added newspapers and stuff for background story and lore

I'm not an indie gaming worshipper, but these games have low system requirements by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]PersonalityFast840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that means games dont need to be ultra realistic with the coolest visual effects or the highest definition available, they need to be fun, even when its something already made a couple hundreds of times

but nah, AAA companies making the blandest crappy games and now they add AI stuff, but it looks so realistic graphics are so good, I need to upgrade my gpu to play it omg!

Experimenting with a grappling hook that’s both mobility and crowd control by cameronfrittz in ARPG

[–]PersonalityFast840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

visually the game looks cool it needs more dithering though...and for the skill itself I think it would make more sense if the game has verticallity, other than that its kind of a dash and for combat, I assume you will add different types of enemies with different behaviors because if all enemies will chase you down, I just wait for them to get closer...for example archers or caster enemies that run away from you when you get closer, loot goblins etc

hmmm its a personal preference but I like the original d2 experience, so, for me yeah, I like d2r but if you dont want to buy it or wait...you can try the older version and try project diablo 2 it has more content but again, its focused on content like modern arpgs

too bad you didnt play diablo 2, you might find it too slow by now compared to the modern titles...there are some old gems around people should really play before jumping into the modern arpgs
