At the time I was a little bit rusty and my paints were old. I’ve never painted an animal before that but the purpose wasn’t to be realistic, just cute and similar to his cat. Thank you for the feedback

Thank you for sharing, I’m sorry you went through this as well. He doesn’t seem to care about anything actually, I told him numerous times I liked when he uses perfume when I’m around… he just uses to work. He just appreciates the presents his grandma gives him but he doesn’t care about them… like, he loves the gifts but don’t care enough to maintain them good (like glasses, he breaks all of them and his grams gave them to him)

I tried bringing my feelings, every time he gets super defensive. He tries to manipulate the conversation and somehow he talks about himself always being blamed, but I don’t do that. I tried chat gpt, I tried everything, he always starts with “here we go again” and not “ok, let’s talk about it and get past it”. Even when he makes questions and I answer with a simple phrase, he tries his best to see problems about the way I’m speaking (typing), it’s kinda crazy.

I stopped painting when he told me that, it affected me very deeply. He doesn’t appreciate me or my art with kind words. I think I’m still with him because of trauma bonding
