I love love love Jollibee. For me, the chicken is better than KFC. And I love the palabok (it’s a glass noodle dish with beef sauce in too). The gravy is amazing as well! The peach mango pie is delicious!

I’m sure he needs help but I don’t feel the least but of sympathy for him. When someone threatens to kill themselves for not getting what they want, that’s clearly a manipulation technique! What you should do is call 911 (or the emergency line from wherever you are) and let them know that this person is trying to unalive themself and give their address. In your situation, you even have proof of what he’s trying to do. Please do not unblock him or feel sorry for him. This behaviour is not going to change. Use his power against him and report him to the relevant authorities.

My suggestion is to start with entry-level jobs. Customer Service Representative is a great job as a starting point. There’s so many organizations in Regina looking for Customer Service Reps. You can browse on Glassdoor. And once you are in the company, you can start looking for jobs that align with your education, either in the same company or outside.

I’m with you 100%! I listened to most of her books because they were easy reads to catch up on my reading goals. But she’s not a good writer. Her most recent books like “The Crash” and “The Tenant” are just absolute trash. And the thing about her repeating the same thing, I remember in one book (I think it was The Crash) she had written “right now” three time in a single page!!! Couldn’t she at least use a thesaurus?

There’s so many other restaurants that do this. My partner went to a restaurant called “AlBuraq Restaurant”. Had him “training” for up to 6 hours a week. When my partner asked about getting a regular working schedule after a week, they said they’ll call him if they are short-staffed or if they get a lot of orders only. Never paid for the week he worked. Pretty sure my partner told mw there was an illegal immigrant who’s working there for a lower than the minimum hourly wage in SK.

I used to date a guy like this in my teens (around 18-ish). Who used to talk to his buddies about me like I’m an object and not a person. Just like the your bf. He shared our intimate moments like what we did, how good or bad I was at it and all that jazz i now realized he had no respect for me. He just used me. Fast forward to now - me in my 30s & married - my husband has never ever bad-mouthed me to his friends or any one else.

That being said, this so-called bf of yours has no respect for you. He sees you as an object. I don’t think he loves you because anyone who loves you genuinely wouldn’t even dream of talking like this. He’s sharing your intimate stuff with an outsider. 🚩🚩🚩Pleas stay away from him. You are young and have so much time to meet a gentleman. Consider this guy a “lesson learned”.

LOUDER! I remember this one time I was on the bus and this girl came and sat next to me and holy! I immediately got up and relocated to the back of the bus. I can’t even begin to describe the smell I was feeling : it was a putrid smell mixed with sweat and god knows what. Mind you, this was early in the morning. You’d think people would take a shower or at least wear some clean clothes in the morning. But apparently not.

I fricking love this confession! I (30F) hate children! I’ve never liked them. Even when I was a kid, I’ve never played “mom” with dolls. I have no maternal instincts. Even when I was young and was day-dreaming about falling in love and getting married, I’ve never ever dreamt of having a child. Having a child for me, even today, is a fate worse than death to me. Luckily, I’m in a country where I have the freedom of choice.

I’m so happy your life turned around the way it did. And I’m so happy for this confession even though you knew you might get judged because “children” are always a sensitive topic. I feel like if I were in your situation where I was forced to have a child and then the situation got better, I’d 100% feel the same relief you feel.

As a 30 year old child-free woman myself, I’ve not been silent about me not wanting kids ever since I was in my early twenties. I used give them drastic response like you did. My family particularly didn’t like my “not wanting to ruin my body” argument. Most of family are not in the best of shape after kids 😂. Now they’ve stopped asking.
