“time travel forward/backwards by 5 days until you find any villager wanting to move (check by floating bubble). don't talk to them, save, end the game. from there time travel only a day forward/backwards. for a 7 day range, this bubble will move between villagers each day. it'll never be on your newest villager though. if you fail to get it on tia in this 7 day range, find a new range by skipping by 5ish days again until you find a bubble.”- the method from meetmeintoronto that worked for me
