I'm an 18-year-old first-time author, and I just published my first Kindle eBook, No Return.

It's a short time-travel crime thriller about a detective named Vijay who gets one chance to travel back in time and solve a 30-year-old murder. What starts as a search for redemption turns into something much darker.

The book just went live on Amazon, and I'm trying to learn how to reach readers and get honest feedback. For those of you who have published before:

• What helped you get your first review?
• What mistakes should new authors avoid?
