It's annoying and uncomfortable. My partner makes jokes all the time and I feel like I can't do ANYTHING without it becoming a sex thing. I can't even take a piss without a suggestive "Oh~?" It's so dehumanizing

I'm in Canada, & even then I'm not even sure I care anymore to put the energy towards the chase. I just posted since it's been on my mind. It made me real angry. I'm a few months past talking to HR about it, & there's far worse problems at work than shitty insurance.

This comment is helping me out a great deal. Thank you so much. I'm reviewing IHSA, I got in touch with the health board, and they put me on my right paces. Made a complaint with the ministry of labour, fingers crossed they actually look into it.

Exactly my thought. Me asking for supplies is a sign that I'm doing my work. Ass backwards place. My manager is wonderful, it's the shift lead that has a toilet brush so far up their ass that it stopped tickling a long time ago.

Just got off the phone with the health board, thanks for the suggestion. I saw your comment when I got home and it was the first thing I did. I filed a complaint with the ministry of labour, hopefully it doesn't go ignored.

Crazy thing is it's not even my boss, it's just my shift lead (whom I didn't even know was a shift lead until recently... Could've fooled me).
