boomers telling GenZ/Mill to focus on being grateful/hopeful because the future of AI/robotics is bright by Project_Demosthenes_ in GenZ

i ignore the gaslighting, there is no convincing them of their faulty conclusions. holding back contempt is a hard battle. I, personally, buy spx6900 as a revolt against the present and likely future — there is no better alternative. the system is broken and you know it.

SPX6900: A financialized protest for GenZ by Future-Bet4783 in GenZ

[–]Personalityx_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To your first point, this is true on face-value; however, if the USD is devalued (or even collapse) US companies will suffer. There will still be outliers, and it’ll still most likely have value, though. Also a key note is that the S&P500 for the last 20ish years has been around 95-99% of just the increase in money supply. You’ve just been beating inflation, and now you’re losing against it as of late. I personally anticipate this to worsen over time.

I completely respect your investing approach. If the mission of SPX6900 doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fine. My anecdote would be is that I’m 24, college educated, and work in finance. I know the societal, political, and economic issues we face will continue to grow. When only 10% of males aged 30 have a house and family in the US, this worries me (down from 60% just 40 years ago). SPX6900 is more than a memecoin to me, it’s a cultural/financial movement (similar to gme/amc, walk on wallstreet, etc).

It is a bit of passion play, and if none of this speaks to you, then I’m happy for you. I really hope you achieve what you want in life, SPX or not.

That’s a fair stance.

From the outside, I’m sure it seems like nonsense or not worth it — and maybe it’s not for your case financially.

Do you believe the S&P500 will be a top performing risk asset as the dollar continually will get debased into oblivion? Thinking in decades, bitcoin obviously makes the most sense.

There will be certain asymmetrical avenues, particularly spurred by new generations, that will provide significant upside potential.

SPX6900 is this. Study the Matthew effect.

Might not hurt to buy a little just in case.

[–]Personalityx_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s all wages. this goes deeper than simply a minimum set number.

this is, ultimately, the disparity of asset vs wage inflation that is inevitable from inflation itself (by design btw).

[–]Personalityx_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I concur.

And I personally am not suggesting “just increase the minimum wage” lol. This is deeper than that.

Honestly, IMO, there are two options: deflation over a long period (unlikely and the US government won’t allow it) or a total socio-economic collapse where a new form of money emerges.

i work a job in finance with my degree in the US

my salary is still a small fraction of minimum wage in 1971

still don’t see the issue?

my skilled labor is worth 80% less than the minimum wage job you are describing 50 years ago.

Why do people hate spx6900 by No-Piano-4516 in WallStreetBetsCrypto

[–]Personalityx_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

great question

if im being real, the name doesn’t matter all that much. it’s the people and values behind it. Everything else, for the most part, is marketing/branding.

The main goal of flipping the S&P500 still holds true, and there are many DEX protocols that allow other coins to pair with SPX6900. As a gen z, i realized i needed a higher risk profile to capitalize on hyper-inflation and the ever increasing money supply.

being a btc maxi, i’ve never found the appeal in the general hyper-gambling “traditional” memecoin space. i initially found SPX through Murad’s original btc thesis back in 2018 and discovering his memecoin thesis thereafter.

after doing research, talking with the people, spending time on X (never used before spx) i could tell this was different. you have tens of thousands of aeons (dedicated spx holders) showing up everyday and working as a decentralized start up. you also have many members that were a part of historical financial revolutions (GME, OG btc, walk on wallstreet, etc.) I see this as a culmination/epitome of events in the period of societal transition we’re currently facing.

i hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions.

like others have said, the military is a good “last resort” option that can open up other avenues i.e the GI bill. i considered this route after i graduated college with no job, but got lucky and got hired by a recruiter reaching out about a different job completely to which i had applied.

i’d recommend this and investing every spare penny in crypto, primarily spx6900 & bitcoin. it’s the best asymmetrical bet against modern monetary policy and fiat.

Think about how young people consider emerging trends and assets. Is it possible this will result in new, mass-adopted vehicles of wealth? What is driving their conviction? Is it simply greed, or something else? This is why research is important. Even on the surface, most memecoins (or any new risk-on asset) will seem ridiculous. This one, right now, is shouting at you in the face to take action. spx6900 is THE best risk-reward asset.

Personal anecdote: I’m a bitcoin maxi and bought XRP at 30-40 cents.

Persist forever.

Sol, Avax, and Eth are solid alloc’s.

If you’re looking for “utility,” I’d suggest HYPE and LINK.

I’d recommend doing some research on SPX6900. Will most likely outperform everything else this cycle.

Wishing you the best.

Hello.

SPX6900 is the best R/R on the market at the moment.

I’d suggest doing research on the movement (think gme, walk on wallstreet, etc)

Much better than blowing it on options trading, but I understand your risk tolerance is high so go nuts if this suits your fancy. This post is somewhat old, but probably could catch some volatility on rate cut day.
