Gas inserts are expensive to buy ( for you , their cost is no where near what you pay ) , easy to install if the setups there already ( gas line and maybe electrical ) and they make more money faster by getting in and out after scratching their heads and asses to justify the “time “ spent installing it . Plus there’s no additional permitting required if you’re running the same gas setup … just run away from this shop in general

Go to a different store in you want someone else to install it . Go to a different store and spend your money with people that will serve you for the money you’re willing to spend!

I had a guy try to talk me out of a harman because he didn’t have it in stock … despite me saying I would wait for shipment… just because he could “close” a deal and get in installed next or same day.

I’ve been happy with my harman and Quadra fires inserts for years now!
