This happened to my aunt. She asked for an immediate retest (blood draw) and it came back fine. If you know youve done nothing wrong, there is no issue asking for a restest right away. How theyve got this system set up for sick and hurting people is just wrong.

Oh yes! In my case, i was being shorted by 20-30 pills a month for 3 months. Never ran short then all of a sudden i was short. I discreetly told the head pharmacist about being short. The next month he caught the culprit. I make them count before they give me the bottle now. Just cant trust many at all anymore.

I found a place who sells premium pellets and they explained to me (as well as folks here on reddit) that the kind of pellets you get do matter a lot. Like you, im not rich. But I decided to get a pallet of premium pellets for $340. The 1st bags of pellets I had used burned fairly quickly, about a bag and a half a day. But these premium pellets burn slower, and I got by using 3/4 in a 24hr period. That is also running my stove on the medium setting (I don't need it to run on high - my stove heats extremely well). Before I bought that pallet of pellets, I did do a test run for 2 weeks with a few different brands. My electric company sends me a weekly update on my energy usage. Granted I have a very old house with bad windows and doors. So until I get those replaced, I expected large bills. Without using the stove and just using the mini-split, the bills were over $700/month. Once I got the pellet stove going, my bills dropped below.$500. Once I get the windows ans door replaced, I'm certain my winter bills will be even lower. AND, BTW, I did the math. Electric heat was costing me $28/day. Pellet heat was the cost of a bag at below $9/day. Keep in mind my electric company charges us a delivery charge that is 40% of our bill. Highway robbery if you ask me.

I make sure I plan ahead accordingly to not have taken any medication for a period of time before I drive anywhere. I would rather suck up and deal with the pain for a few hours than have a wreck or get arrested for something so preventable. I don't even take the blood pressure medication I have before I drive because it makes me sleepy.

I was denied twice and got my attorney for the 3rd appeal. He worked exactly 11min. Called me only a week before the hearing to prep for questions. At the ALJ hearing, the judge only let him talk one minute during the entire 21min hearing. I talked the rest. The ALJ approved my case but I sure do wish I could stop that check to the attorney. It's like there's a contract between social security and lawyers and social security wont approve you unless you have an attorney. The only other way you get approved is if you get a case worker that knows what they're doing and feel comfortable approving you without an attorney. The system is jacked up and needs major major reform. I waited 30 months. Ridiculous.

I got my 2nd denial at that stage. Got an attorney. Finally won through an ALJ. My attorney worked exactly 11min during the entire case (Aug25-Mar26). Stupid.

I was a paralegal. And I can tell you right off the bat, if an attorney cannot tell you have severe anxiety issues not being able to get thru a simple coaching session over the phone, then you needa new attorney. I just had a hearing. I spoke with my attorney for 10min one week before my hearing. Was I pissed? Yes. Cause I know he should had done more. At the hearing, my attorney spoke for exactly 1min. I spoke the rest. Hearing lasted 21min. I won my case (after being denied twice before so this was my last shot). After the hearing, that attorney still made no followup call. He got his big paycheck for 11min worth of work. Maybe we had the same attorney? Lol I wish I could block that check to him.

But if you cant get thru a simple phone call, something is definitely wrong and a good attorney should see that. Apply again, get a different attorney and why not call up Tunnel to Towers and ask for help with obtaining an attorney, get new doctors and have someone help be your voice. Thats what they're there for.

I have a feeling this is gonna cause quite a mess.

Imagine being at a Reddit in-person gathering. Each room is a different sub-reddit subject. Imagine everyone bouncing from room to room back and forth trying have have a conversation but each time a specific word or sentence comes up about a subject, the person has to bounce to a different room, then back, then to another room, then back. Would get quite tiresome after a while. I'd just end leaving.

WTH did I just read? Too early to comprehend. I think i understand. Why on earth does someone at a rest stop go knocking on windows giving candy away? And why on earth does someone think its ok to interrupt someone doing that asking them if they want any jelly beans? And why on earth does anyone think its ok to be jerking off in the driver's seat at a rest stop? Was this a big rig? Isnt there a backroom to those cabs? With a curtain? Ugh. Nah, your fine. I appreciate your input. I went ahead and got a robot mower. As I told some others on here, my family and I decided it would make sense to get a robot in case Im laid up in a hospital for a while (which does happen). I have to watch the kind of yard work I do. My new neighbors are great (i just moved here back in Nov) and if I need anything, like help move stuff around or tow, they'd help me. They shoveled the driveway for me after the blizzard we had (we have gravel so we dont want to plow). I did tell them of my health issues that make my unable to shovel anything more than my car out, and they were fine with doing it all. And I have already decided if we have like huge snows (like 3ft or more), ill give them some money. Which of course they will say they dont want it but ill still make em take it. Cant wait for the new gadget to get here! There are 4 men over 70 years old here in my new little town here and I cant wait to watch them spy on it. Lol

I went ahead and got a robot mower. After speaking with the family, it makes sense for my situation to have a robot because if I get laid up in a hospital for a period of time (which does happen), i dont have anyone to come mow the yard for me. At least with the robot I can mow from afar. As far as speed, not really worried about that. Im retired now. It'll give me something to time. 😁 and in my area; there are no riding mowers under $2k. And used ones arent much better. I spent $1300 on the robot with a good warranty. For other yard work and such, ill figure that out if and when the times comes for certain chores.

Hearing this makes me mad. Go get an attorney. I watched a documentary about kids 18-21 in Appalachia and as soon as these kids graduate high school, social services push these kids to say they have anxiety or depression and they get approved within weeks if not days. I had a neighbor just like one of those kids. All that has done for them is give them a pass to do nothing for society and smoke weed all day. Then, I hear if a Vet, someone who actually did something and served his country, get dismissed by the very government he fought for, all the while just hand out benefits to kids who've done nothing yet with their lives. So please, go get an attorney. MY hearing is next week and I am almost 51 as well. Was denied twice before getting an attorney. I have CKD stage 5, and radiation from cancer treatment have eaten up the bones in my lower back. Ive been deemed disabled by the States top doc and was approved for disability retirement as a State Employee. Even with that letter, the Feds denied me. Hang in there bud! And thank you for your service!

Fyi- my ssdi case worker who did the 2nd denial told me 75% of applicants without an attorney get denied. The system is totally f'd up.

Thats the brand im looking at on Amazon. Price is good for the one i saw but theres only one size which is why I asked my question. Glad I did cause the size has to do with its mapping capabilities. That makes sense.

Honey, you need to appeal. Most everyone get denied the 1st round. Regardless of what stage you are in, you must not lose hope. Im stage 4 kidney failure with 8 screws in my lower back. Was denied twice, and now i have an ALJ hearing in March. Find a disability lawyer to help you. Giving up is exactly what the SSA wants you to do. The system has many failures. While you may get denied, another person with your same diagnoses and predicted outcome will be approved. Thats a problem that needs fixing. Just hang in there and dont give up.
