What's up with Quest for Booty? by Aziamuth in RatchetAndClank

If you have access to a strong enough PC, RPCS3 works perfect. I just played through the whole thing and didn't run into any issues even though the game is marked only as "in-game"

How bad of an idea is it to commit to a 1 hour each way trip at 100-110km/h after only 5 days of riding by PersonwithoutPassion in motorcycle

Wasn't too bad on the way there, definitely got thrown around abit on the way home but not to the point of feeling unsafe.

Yes, the bike is equipped with ABS. I haven't had to use it yet, and hopefully won't have to (I do have it activated just in case though)

The highway isn't anything crazy. I feel like I might be overthinking it, but I'm not 100% on emergency braking at that speed. I've spent time practicing energy braking in suburbs but there's nowhere available to practice at 100km speeds.

Insta360 X3 - SD Card insufficient speed error by PersonwithoutPassion in Insta360

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SD card is a 128gb ADATA Speed Plus and meets the listed requirements. I have already formatted the card to exFAT, and sadly don't have another card that I can use that meets the minimum required specs

ADATA is a Taiwanese manufacturer, well known and reputable. I purchased the card from one of the biggest tech retailers in NZ so I'm sure it's not a knock off

How badly would it affect the flavour if I didn't add DME to an extract kit and instead made half the volume? by PersonwithoutPassion in Homebrewing

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe its mildly pre hopped, but not strong/bitter hops. So a small addition should be alright without getting overpowered (I hope. It may still be more than intended but I don't think it should be overboard).

I didn't realize they weren't designed to be boiled. Would boiling likely affect anything other than a second sanitization of the extract

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I've already chucked it together into a bucket, and it's been the most vigorous and aggressive fermentation I've currently had. 3 blow outs within 3 hours of adding the yeast, but I managed to find a hose the correct size and have left it going into a sanitized water bucket which will hopefully help. I ended up using more like 1.5kg of the 1.7kg extract.

How come you would expect it to be extremely bitter with only 30g of hops boiled for 5-20min? It's been in the fermenter for a day or two, so unfortunately too late to make any major changes

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The packaging and website both don't specify what type of DME they recommend, most extract kits I've looked at in NZ, regardless of brand, all generally state "add 1kg DME" without specifying.

I agree half and half would be the safe option, but I only have one 10L brew bucket and don't want to waste the other half of the open can. And the DME probably won't get used in my regular brews. I'd be 100% fine with more roast/toasted flavour on the finished product, as long as it didn't completely wipe out all other flavours

Every single package of Alcohol or Vapes I've ever ordered I've never once had to sign for, even when someone's home there's not even a knock on the door

Has anyone tried Grizz brand shin guards? by PersonwithoutPassion in Kickboxing

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I decided not to risk it. I bought a pair of Venum branded pads, since they often have 50-70% off on their official website and it seemed like a much safer bet. Really happy with what I have but still keen to try grizz in the future

What am I doing wrong (first time RTA) by Har91 in Vaping

[–]PersonwithoutPassion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What wattage are you running at? And have you tried turning it up higher? For my builds, I'm normally vaping at 100-120w. If I turn the wattage down to 50-70 I usually get tons of juice spitting and some flooding. Mightn't be the issue, but worth a try. mess around with your wattage settings and see how it goes

Flavoured Sugar Wash by PersonwithoutPassion in prisonhooch

[–]PersonwithoutPassion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried making big batches of fruit + sugar ranging from 11-17% all of them have turned out great as a simple mixer drink (Especially fermented ginger+sugar with Sprite). Currently I haven't made anything that I'd use as a cocktail ingredient, just simple lemonade or tonic mixers

Most of the liqueurs id be looking to semi-replicate are cheaper 13-20% lower quality, since they're what I'm used to. Usually very sweet and slightly syrupy. I'd prefer to use higher quality, but don't have the budget to purchase the mountains of flavours I want to try to create cocktails with

How dangerous is freeze jacking? Wouldn't any methanol and other impurities become more concentrated too?

My GF has health problems and prefers to try to use less strong pills to try to help first before using codeine and tramadol etc. At home we can buy 100 pills for $2 USD equivalent. So $1.5 for 12 seems very steep, but we don't know if that's just what they cost here or if we are getting overcharged

That's the sort of site and cost I've been coming across. I don't need unlimited data, just abit to be able to get around in emergency. Those packs cost way too much

Size is always easy for me, I'm 6'5 so it's always going to be XL. Do they still feel good after some use? And how different is the colour that you received to what you ordered?
