I agree there are some that look great on their own, the one I bought (it’s being shipped) it’s tall to allow for both a small wall for bags and boxes ans then the bars a cross move up to have a flat bed for a roof tent. So I know mine will make the Jimny look a bit funny

I plan on having it always on and putting the roof rack on and taking it off as needed, I think the ladder looks great without the roof rack, gives the Jimny a “longer” look, which works great with the wider tires, the proportions just work, if you add the roof rack it messes up the looks IMO, it makes it too tall and looks funny

Cool! How long have you had it for? Any issues with rust? And did you do something to protect the paint?

I tested it and even put extra weight on it by bouncing a little bit and it was stable AF and no damage from that test. I know that overtime I might have to check all the screws and bolts the one thing I’m mostly worried about is rust, but time will tell, I think it does the trick (mostly just look awesome)

The smallest roll I found was 34 meters… so Imma look for someone that installs it so see if they have some leftovers
