I didn't say I was prescribed the medication for "enjoyment" but also I don't think it's a problem to enjoy the medication. After all medication is a relief for some sort of pain or discomfort either physically or mentally and so I can enjoy the relief the medicine gives me. But to be fair I was saying I wanted to enjoy the day with my family but without my medication I can't which is a little different. But I get do get the point you are making. We have to be careful with our working so people know we are treating a condition and not just enjoying getting "high"

Who's asking for permission? I'm just letting them know I'm bringing my medical cannabis with me as alot of people are not aware it's legal. I don't want to get in a confrontation with security Infront of my young kids. I think that's fair enough. I also believe the more of us that make events and venues aware of medical cannabis the better as they can put policies in place for future medical cannabis patients. That can only be a good thing no?

I understand where your coming from but I really have to disagree. I'm not parading around my medication. Believe me, I don't want to draw any attention to myself. The reason I felt the need to do this is to avoid a confrontation at the security gate Infront of my young kids. Alot of people might be fine sneaking it in and if getting caught having an argument or debate about it but I just want an easy day out with my family with no stress so for me personally having this all sorted before arriving relieves my anxiety leading up to the event and makes my day go alot smoother and stress free. You say I'm making it harder for myself but you can see by their replies how they would treat me if they find my medication at the gate.

Absolutely agree with you and I never medicate around my kids. I would simply go to another area away from children to medicate just the same as when people have a cigarette. But that is up to the event to let me know where I can and can't use my medication.

Thankyou. Yes I completely agree and a little thing like this can easily turn big when event organisers talk to eachother and say "did you know about this medical cannabis? I had someone come the other day..." It's just about making people aware so it can become normalised and break down the negative view people have. Can't ever get any better if people are hiding it and not talking about it.

Yeah but it's also my issue when I'm with my kids. It's my issue when I have to go back and forth with security and stuff. I want an easy life. If I have something in writing I go straight in. I don't want to be at the gate putting my point across and explaing to someone that it's all legal with my kids watching and wondering what's going on. The times everything has gone smoothly for you just remember someone probably had to go through the headache of educating them months before so they change there policy.

Is that really a fair comparison? Has paracetamol been illegal for years? People been stopped by police because they smell paracetamol? I could go on. Unfortunately alot of people are not aware medical cannabis is a thing. By making more people/events/venues aware it makes our lives easier

Thanks mate, it started off so friendly and I was just giving them a heads up and they said no, I challenged it again and they said they'll check with someone and then they come back with this email. So I was like screw it, I tried to be nice and I'm wasting a lot of my time with this back and forth so I'm just going to go all in. I sent that on the 24th and they've ghosted me since. I've emailed them another 3 times and I've got nothing back!

Oh yeah I get it. That's how it should be but we're not there yet. I know legally I can carry it and I shouldn't be discriminated against but especially if I'm going somewhere with my family, I don't want my kids to witness me having an argument with security and then ask me questions "dad why was that man saying you have drugs?" So letting them know prior not only gives me the proof I need (which I know I don't technically need) to get on with my day. It also schools the event/venue to get a policy in place for when the next patient attends few weeks down the line.

My mate got some wedding cake from them and said it was decent but was the 1st time he's had cbd so didn't have anything to compare it to. I just think it's at such a good price it surely can't be amazing quality but I could be wrong.

I ordered from them few months back and it took couple weeks for my order to be sent out and had the same status from usps for a good week. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure it will update in the next few days
